Khoa started his career in the public sector, undertaking quantitative economic analysis for Australia’s Department of the Treasury on a range of public policies including the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (CPRS), Petroleum Resource Rent Tax (PRRT) and the Taxation of Financial Arrangements (TOFA).
Khoa then moved to Access Economics and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu where he specialised in the financing and funding of public policy including in aged care, disability and health insurance for a range public and private sector clients.

Khoa is adept not only at applying economic modelling, statistical and actuarial techniques to real world situations but also attuned to the political and economic contexts in which small to medium enterprises operate. Khoa has contributed to public policy reforms over the last decade which have included the National Aged Care Reform and Health and Hospital reforms.
Khoa is also the founder and director of Aid Asia Initiative Australia Pty Ltd and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
